David Katz & Associates, LLC is a real estate development company that serves both established real estate developers and younger, start-up companies, bringing 40 years of condominium experience to their developments in a consultative manner on a fee and/or project basis.

David Katz is managing member of David Katz & Associates, LLC, and former president of Bernard Katz & Associates, Inc., having  joined the company in 1967, and serving as the driving force of the company for the last 20 years.

Together along with his former affiliates, David’s resume includes the building and developing of more than 55 developments in over 30 communities. These developments include luxury condominiums, town homes and single-family residences spanning Chicago’s North Shore to the far western suburbs. 

David’s background and reputation as one of the industry’s savviest and most successful developers benefits his client companies in every facet of their real estate development.  As president of Bernard Katz & Associates from 1993 to 2007, his responsibilities included supervision of all sales, marketing and advertising, financing of all new construction, as well as soliciting skilled labor and negotiating all bids with subcontractors, and overseeing all unit closings. 

David has been a licensed real estate broker since 1967. He has been a member of the board of Governors for the North Side Real Estate Board and has served as chairman of the ethics and procedure committees.  He has also served on the finance, education and cooperative listing service committees of the North Side Real Estate Board. 

In addition to its developer consultation services, David Katz and Associates, LLC is currently seeking land acquisition and development opportunities throughout the Chicago/Suburban metro area.
